Aloe Vera Gel - Aloe Barbadensis - Aloe Vera has antibacterial, antifungal and antiviral compounds that help prevent wound infections.
Calendula - Calendula Officinalis - When applied to wounds, calendula prevents microbial growth and does not cause skin tissues to retract, providing more oxygen to the skin cells to help speed up healing.
Comfrey -Symphytum Officinale - Comfrey is well known for the topical treatment of injuries including broken bones, burns, skin ulcerations, abrasions, lacerations, flea and insect bites, and just about any skin irritation. Comfrey's astringent tannins form a protective surface over wounds and promotes healing.
Plantain - Plantago Major Lanceolata - Plantain is best known for healing of minor skin injuries and sores.  It has a drawing action that can draw out infection as well as splinters, stingers and other foreign objects embedded under the skin.
St. John's Wort - Hypericum perforatum  Applied topically as anti-inflammatory and analgesic.
Witch Hazel - Hamamelis Virginiana - Witch Hazel is one of the most familiar home herbal medicines.  It is a general and all purpose first aid remedy for abrasions, burns, scalds, bites and inflammatory conditions of the skin and is used in varicose vein treatment including hemroids.
Yarrow - Achillea Millefolium - Yarrow disinfects cuts, scrapes and skin wounds and encourages clotting.

Directions:  Keep pads in freezer until ready for use.  Unwrap one pad and apply to perineum as a compress.  Pads contain space for absorbency.  For single use only.

What our Clients are saying:

The love they brought to my son's birth was a feeling I'll never forget..."
-Jessica R.

"We chose to have our baby under the guiding care of a midwife and doula. Initially, we thought that since we were working with a midwife, we wouldn't need a doula, but now, if someone told me I could only choose to have a midwife *or* a doula at my birth, I would choose my doula, Danielle. She was a constant support through my pregnancy and my labor, and my husband was so grateful for Danielle's support and guidance, as well. I honestly can't even imagine my birth without her - she was completely hands-on during my labor helping me with the physical task of bringing baby into the world, but she also respected my ability to listen to my body's own cues. She let me lead my process and stepped in with suggestions and reminders when necessary.."
-Alanna R.

"I have been blessed to have 3 beautiful gentle hospital births without pain medication, all with doulas. Of those three birth experiences, Kindred Hearts was by far my best doula experience. The difference comes down to the amazing wealth of experience and expertise these three incredible doulas share and the support and companionship I gained each month from Birth Circle was exceptional.
